Painting Day With Paula

There is nothing like getting together with one of my beloved sisters.

Since the temperature once again plummeted ,my sister, Paula, and I decided to have a painting day!

I was invited for lunch too! She made us a delightful ‘mixed tray’ of yummy ‘nibblies’.

Paula has THE best playlists on Spotify so we chatted about the music, over the music, and rocked while we created.

I have been working on a surprise project for the last few weeks (you’ll have to wait and see) but I have really been missing painting.

Paula is just excellent with ‘alcohol ink’ and she decided to add to her series of ‘wave paintings’. So she sat across from me while I set up my small, black canvas upon my little easel for the afternoon.

I tried to work quickly, no measuring, and very few colours.

I’m very happy with the results of another painting to add to my “Ways To Get There” series.

And a BIG thank-you to my ‘seestore’ for the lovely day in her beautiful home.
