When I’m 64

I was able to be with a few close friends before I flew off to Ontario to be with my family there. They (my 3 dear friends) made me feel very loved.

I had a really fun gift from Terry : a popcorn maker and ingredients to make the exact taste of ‘movie popcorn’. (I’ve often wondered what I really like more about the movies..the movie or the popcorn? ha ha)

And we DID go to a matinee movie for my special day and I can tell you that after that particular movie I liked the popcorn more…ha ha again.

Got my hair done, packed, and I was ready to relax for my last evening in town for awhile.

Sorry about all the photos of me but I guess May 13th….was about me! Terry kept up tradition and made my favourite cake (pineapple upside down cake) and our daughter, Em, joined us for our fancy dinner of KFC ( a belated Mother’s Day tradition in my family). Her yellow roses are gorgeous and it was a super nice day.

We had to get up at 4:30 am the next day and off we flew.

I’m in Windsor visiting my Eastern leg of the family and my bestest friends too. It’s been a long 2 years to be away in May and I’m feeling very blessed to return.

Tomorrow we belatedly celebrate my Dad’s 90th birthday and ALL of my siblings will be there with me too.

Family = Love.

And I feel rich.
