One Last Look at Montreal…

After one more chiro for terry ( who is feeling better and better everyday) we headed out looking for the thing that everyone says we had to try ( and the one thing I was avoiding….ha ha) ….our first taste of poutine. Terry’s chiropractor gave him a recommendation of the ‘best poutine in montreal’ and so we drove to la banquise .

The poutine was good for what it was ( and although we asked for the original kind there were dozens of choices) but we are not sold on it . It is really hard to get our heads around deep fried potatoes in gravy with cheese curds….yikes ! But we can say we tried it now and all is right with the world…lol.

We enjoyed going for a much needed walk after that and the photos you see are from that walk . A funny ‘doctored’ sign on the corner made us laugh.

We also got such kick out of the voice on our gps this week . She calls out the names of the french street signs so phonetically that I giggle every time. For example , we stayed on ‘ south, rené levesque st. And ‘she’ would say , ” turn sud on runny luvick street ” .

We enjoyed beautiful montreal but are excited for our next 2 days as well. We have just arrived in mont tremblant.
