Mont Tremblant, Quebec
We arrived last night to the beautiful mont tremblant where we spoiled ourselves with a nice hotel this time. It is a wee town that reminds us of whistler in b.c..
We had a look around before the rain came in and enjoyed a good fajitas dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby.
Today the rain was non-stop but after working out ( terry gently in the gym and myself in the pool) we had a small breakfast then brought our guitars out for a rehearsal near the conference rooms (an area in which we were assured would be fine for this activity).
We needed to go over some of the music we haven’t played in awhile and it was good to get to those songs again.
Finding lunch in the town meant not only a copious amount of stairs for us ( I have some mobility issues and arthritic knees hold me accountable for days after this kind of workout…ha ha) but it was also difficult to manage a cane and an umbrella in very strong winds and pelting rain.
I was getting the giggles so badly when terry’s umbrella blew inside out knocking his hat sideways and he trying to film a short video of the beauty around us. We had a good lunch at bullseye and then tried to look at the shops. It was just too difficult so we ended up having a coffee (he) and tea(me) in a nearby coffee shop and watching other victims lose their umbrellas.
Tomorrow is not supposed to rain so we will have better weather for our trip to morrisburg, ontario. 1St show in a week tomorrow night !
