What We Put Off

A Round Tuit.jpg

HA HA HA.

I hope you enjoy your first “Round Tuit”.

Before I left for Ontario, I left Terry with an extensive ‘honey do’ list. I have to watch what I ask for because my husband is the opposite of lazy …(despite the fact that he jokes that “I don’t have to keep reminding him every 6 months” when I ask him for some help)…ha ha again.

It is much easier to procrastinate than to get to the things we should be doing, isn’t it?

Some of us wait till April to get to that ‘Spring cleaning’. Sometimes we get stuck looking at FaceBook for hours instead of cleaning the kitchen or bathroom.

But what about other things we ‘should’ be doing?

Life goes by fast and maybe it’s time to start making time for a prayer regime? Can you set aside 10 minutes for prayer every day? There is so much to be thankful for and there is SO much to pray for in our broken world.

Or how about that OVERLY busy person? Can you set aside time for ….yourself? We all need time to recharge so that we can be the ‘best version of ourselves’ for the day.

Let’s not wait for a ‘round tuit’ . Let’s do what needs to be done today!

Make that call to your brother. Sweep your floors. Send that letter to that lonely widower down the block. Read that book you’ve been wanting to read but feel too guilty. Thank God for your many blessings.

Whatever you’ve been putting off…..get around to it….TODAY!
