Our Breezeway
The writing’s on the wall : I’m getting worse in the walking/pain department.
When we did our initial house reno seven years ago we wanted to put in a breezeway ( a hallway that connects the garage to the house) but we were told that THAT permit would possibly take another year. Ugh. So we decided to go ahead and just renovate the garage and house so that the project would only take a year.
But when we decided it was time to build it …and we came into some unexpected funds when our dear Aunt Helen died …we called the folks who did such a great job on our home to now do the breezeway. (Aquarian Renovations)
It was supposed to be completed last June but due to supply chain holdups it has only just been (almost) finished in November!
Also the price doubled. Double ugh.
Anyway, we’re only waiting for some small caps on the ends of the railings and then we are officially done. We’ve been enjoying the structure already for months as we don’t have to go out in the rain or wind or now….the snow. No shovelling to get to the garage!
