High School Reunion
I got my hair all ‘fancied up’ for a night with my high school chums at Jose’s Bar and Grill in Windsor.
Barb picked me up and she looked gorgeous as usual. She brought her yearbook and we all had so much fun looking up faces and names of our old chums.
We were almost the first ones there but our forever friend, Cathy (known her since we were three year old!) was already there and looking beautiful too!
What a surprise to see her with our friend Pat (Cathy and Pat above) that I’ve actually not seen…..since Belle River High School days!
At least 9 people had to send their regrets due to the way life gets in the way sometimes but it was wonderful to be with Anne, Carmen, Tamra, Diane, and Debbie…(.above right…whom I’d also not seen since high school. Wow!)…Barb, Cathy, and Pat.
Anne surprised us with a birthday cake for our 65th birthdays and it was funny that we all sang “Happy Birthday” ….to ourselves!
I think every one of us enjoyed our food at Jose’s and of course we all enjoyed catching up on the latest with dear friends. Some of us needed joint replacements, one going through chemo, lots of grandmas and gals still working too.
Very happy this worked out and I think it’s cool that we still want to be together every year.
