Lundbreck Falls

I’ve heard about Lundbreck Falls from a group I belong to on Facebook. It is a group of folks who love to take landscape photographs. I was invited to check it out by my friend, Pat, and although I cannot compete with the professional photographers in the group, I love to look at their photographs for inspiration and enjoyment. I occasionally add one or two of my own if I get one I feel is worthy of the group.

Lundbreck Falls must be one of their favourite places to go because I feel Iike I have seen photos of this waterfall in every season.

So we took one of our holidays to drive over near Pincher Creek to check them out.

As you can see they are very beautiful. The winds were really kicking up in this area which explains why there are so many windmills. Terry climbed around a bit and I tried to stay upright…ha ha ha.

It was so windy that having lunch outside would have included a lot of dust and dirt so we drove to Pincher Creek and found a nice coffee shop for lunch. But on the way we checked out the town of Lundbreck which had a lot of character and apparently the oldest liquor store in the west.

After lunch we checked out the “Lebbel Mansion” which serves as an Art Gallery where I picked up a few cards.

I sure am loving all these journeys to small towns in Southern Alberta.

Thanks for joining me!
