“Old Car” Off To Edson
As you can tell I really love painting old vehicles.
Recently, I discovered that an Alberta photographer had posted his wonderful photo of an old car with the Aurora Borealis in the background. I loved it!
I contacted him and asked if it would be fine with him if I attempted to paint his image and he said, “Yes!”, but on one condition: I show him the final painting.
So ,inspired, I got to work and the photos above are the result of my painting sessions.
I contacted André and the next thing I knew he was on his way from his home in Edson to purchase it!
I didn’t have long to enjoy it at my home but I’m very happy that the painting has so quickly found a new home with a happy owner.
