Paula’s Art Show

Much like…. all of my family, ha ha, ….Paula is an incredible artist.

I LOVE her style of painting and she had enough artwork completed to seek out a place to sell it in town. She found the perfect venue in Café La Reine.

Paula and her husband, Albert, did most of the heavy lifting and Paula did all the preparatory work to create, label each piece of artwork, and package it up for transport.

We were happy to help her decide where to hang /display the artworks and I enjoyed helping to figure out where each piece would look best esthetically.

Café La Reine is a cute little breakfast/lunch coffee shop/restaurant and mostly black and white in design.

I thought Paula’s art just ‘popped’ against this type of backdrop.

What do you think?

I love how some of her paintings and vases look incredible in the window with the light shining through them too. And those ocean waves? Love em’!

After a hard mid-afternoon’s work, Paula and Albert treated us to a delicious dinner at The Cajun House and dessert in the form of the best darned chocolate croissants we’ve ever tasted!

If you want to know prices and such for Paula’s artwork you can find her online at pdrewcreations.com

P.S. the bird painting above the 2 chairs sold this week!
