Belle River House Concert

Another great house concert at the home of gwen and chuck reynolds. They had it set up beautifully and this was one of the first times since the tour started that I was a bit nervous as some of my longtime girlfriends were going to attend. They enjoyed a dinner together first at the sandbar and then joined us after that. Our friend , anne , got the news that she is going to be a grandma for the third time ! Woo hoo!

Folks brought wonderful potluck snacks and also for the first time spiritline was joined by 2 of my sisters, maryanne east ( who did most of the promotions and connections ….thank you so much !) And pamela pellizzari- both of whom did a wonderful job on harmonies (although we didn’t ever have a chance to rehearse together.)

We had a nice full house and we started off as all professional musicians do : by forgetting our go pro and losing our go pro stand . So of course we had to stop the concert and set all this up ….lol

I managed to banter on and then sing a bonus song until the man figured out the video camera. We are trying our best to film every concert . Terry used an extra mic stand and gaffer tape to rig it up and away we went.

It was such an honour to play for dear friends, my dad and mum, and new friends too. The bigger sound was fun and at tonight’s concert we have an even bigger sound…..
