Potluck!
Rain was predicted for the potluck party at Bob and Karen’s cottage near Pidgeon Lake. They have been inviting the ‘pool friends’ over for 15 years but this was only my second year as I’m new to the pool.
Terry and I drove 3 of my new friends the hour journey and as we got closer the skies got bluer! It was going to be a sunny day!
Our hosts had all the tables set up outside and the inside was gorgeous with the usual giant kitchen island set up with all the food and drink provided. They own 2 very large log cabins on the property and it is right on the water too.
Bob took us out on the water again this year and it was a lovely ride. The water like glass.
Karen, his wife is wearing the very colourful outfit she made. She almost makes all her own clothes and always has a raffle for some of her amazing quilting. I won 2 of her placemats (and Terry won a big quilted, yellow bag but I made them draw again….ha ha)
