In Every Season
Some of us are in the “Summer “ of our lives and some, like me, might be in the “Autumn” of our lives. Perhaps you are in the “Spring” or “Winter” of your life.
To EVERYTHING there is a season. I have been blessed to have enjoyed a season of embracing . I have had times to ‘pluck up what was planted’ when we moved here to northern Alberta.
I have had times to mourn ,times to weep, times when I could dance, and many times to laugh.
In this Autumn of my life I struggle with a body that moves slower and more painfully. We’ve had to install apparatus to help me get up from a couch and I now travel with infrastructure to help me sleep or to be able to get off a low toilet seat.
And sometimes I get a bit sad and feeling sorry for myself about it. It can be embarrassing not to be able to just stand up from a seated position. And it is certainly painful.
But in this season of my life I see many blessings. This is a time to love and be thankful.
This is a time to remember that many many have it tougher than ourselves for so many reasons.
This is a time to build up …not tear down.
We are at war with Covid but we can strive for peace in our hearts. Peace in our homes.
No matter what ‘season’ of life you are living you can always practice kindness. It is always a time for kindness.
Peace, friends.
Peace.
