Front Porch Concert Series July 2024

It was a perfect evening for a summer concert and we knew there was no sign of rain like last time.

So our July Front Porch Concert saw us welcoming a lovely but small crowd to our yard. I was actually surprised how small the crowd was as we had quite a few RSVP’s and most didn’t turn up. Perhaps the evening was SO beautiful that folks made other plans! Either way it felt good to be outside with no bugs, not too hot or cold, and with a great show by Tim Isberg and our friend, Marc Ladouceur.

Tim Isberg is SUCH an interesting man! He is a veteran of the Armed Forces and has shared his experiences in his songwriting with a brand new album ….and a ‘Chicken Soup For the Soul’ type of book about military experiences called “Everyday Heroes”.

I loved all of his songs and Marc added nice harmonies and interesting mando and electric guitar lead breaks. It was so much fun.

SpiritLine opened the show and I think we did a good job with our songs as well. Terry sang “Morning Coffee” and a love song he wrote and I sang my own love song to him called “The Reason” as well as “I Know It’s You” sort of a love song to God!

Here’s a sample of Tim’s music……
