Day 2 Rehearsals
The photos above? This is a front yard of “Charlotte” whose husband has turned it into a full, miniature train set!
You never know what you’re going to see in Rosebud. If you live in Alberta you should really try and get to this wonderful little town. B.J.’s afternoon tea and homemade pies are worth the trip alone.
Of course the theatre is what first drew us in. But Terry and I were just talking about how much we love this place and how many things we’ve done there from having art shows at the gallery to performing there as part of our cross Canada tour. Tomorrow we are going to attend a matinee of their latest show “Songs For A New World” which runs from June 10-August 28th, 2022

What a day! Today the music really hit my heart. After a pretty quiet rehearsal morning of learning various songs and reprises, Terry and I took a break and went back to the B & B for the lunch we brought with us. We even had time for a few Tile Rummy games.
In the above photo you can see the excellent pianist to Terry’s right standing(Tara) and the guy who plays the young “Eddie” at his bottom right. Dillon, Karen, and Declan are to his left and they play several characters.
But when we got back to the rehearsal the entire group was singing the song from the church scene. I have attached part of his song, “I Will Carry You”.
I think that you will agree it is just beautiful…. copy and paste the link below.

There is something interesting to see in every corner in this town.
I’ve been hearing many people tell Terry that they think his songs are beautiful.
They are! Can’t wait for you to see this musical someday.
To be continued…..
