Painting Day 2

I still can’t believe my dad paints every day… several times a day!

I love how he fills his day with creating and reading, watching his favourite shows with Mum, and of course a good meal or two thrown in for good measure…ha ha.

That is one of the joys of being able to live in your own home in your later years. He and Mum have lots of interests including puzzles, gardening and photography for my mom and the shared joy of antiquing and going for road trips. Mum is also an excellent painter.

So they get a lot of use out of their art room and I was the beneficiary of their art supplies!

I worked from a photograph I found on my phone from an image my sister, Mary, took. I loved the calm image of this bridge in autumn.

Such a blessing to paint with my family.
