You’ve Got Mail!
As I’ve been driving around I’ve seen that people go to a bit of effort to make their mailboxes look special.
So when Terry was golfing one day, I set out to capture some images of them when I was on my own.
When’s the last time you wrote a letter? I mean a real paper letter with an envelope to mail, not an email.
Who doesn’t love receiving mail…..that isn’t a bill or a request for money?
I love writing letters! I haven’t been very good at it lately but I would hate to see this ‘art’ disappear forever. Cursive writing on a lovely piece of stationary just makes you want to sit down with a cup of tea and savour every word mailed to you.
When’s the last time you received a letter? Snail mail. Was it good news? What it something that you kept? Was it from someone special?
I think my last letters were in Christmas cards that I received. Terry saves all of the cards and letters from Christmas until about Epiphany then he sits down with a coffee and carefully reads through each one.
I challenge you to choose one person, just one person in your life, and write them a nice letter.
