Tea-Licious

The other day we decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out.

I ‘Googled’ “Best breakfast place in Kona” and Tea-Licious was first up.

This place is a very tiny restaurant with a very crowded parking lot but oh, what a delight to have discovered it early in our trip.

This is definitely another place that I would love to take a girlfriend if it were in my city. Lots and lots of teapots and fun mugs and cups with mismatching plates.

We were actually lucky to find a seat in the place with so few tables but I’m sure glad we did!

Their specialty was the “German Breakfast” which was all sorts of breads and meats and cheeses, etc. but both of us decided to get a fresh papaya (with lemon) and croissants with ham and havarti cheese. SO delicious!

Loved the decor which also included 3 German Cuckoo Clocks. And the coffee was really good too.

We chatted with a lovely young couple from Texas who sat across from us and it just felt like a wonderful ‘find’.

We’ll be back!
