Small Watercolour Cards

This Spring was very cold and rainy compared to other times we’ve stayed in Vancouver.

And because we fly now instead of driving, we can’t really bring all our easels and bins of paints and brushes and canvases like we used to. So I fit in just one package of blank watercolour paper cards and a small paint tray for those rainy days.

I used my own photos or ones from the internet for inspiration and had fun trying to paint some simple greeting cards.

And….because we celebrate five birthdays while we’re here there were always cards to include with our gifts!

My mum is amazing at creating her own cards with this same medium. I want to be like her when I grow up!
