Birthday Fun

It was really fun to celebrate my Terry.

He chose our activities for the actual day which included meals out, a painting afternoon, and watching the movie Oppenheimer. (Which we thoroughly enjoyed.)

AND our daughters just happened to be in town for a wedding so we all went out to one of our favourite restaurants (Toast) for brunch. Lana surprised him with a lovely print she and Jeff purchased on their honeymoon in Italy and she paid for our meals too. SO nice.

A few days later I celebrated our friend, Marla’s birthday at Joey’s and we had a long, lovely catch up.

I also had a chance to visit with some of our dear “Pool” friends . It had been way to long since I’d seen some of these folks.

These guys are the ‘cream of the crop’ when it comes to friends and I was SO happy that Barb and Jerry happened to be in town too.

As it happens we were invited to a belated birthday dinner for Terry that same night!

My sister, Paula and husband, Albert put together (o.k. let’s not kid ourselves…PAULA put together) a delicious fajitas dinner and spoiled Terry (and me!) with chocolate cake for dessert.

And of course there were presents!

I think Terry felt very appreciated and loved.

He IS!

(Thanks Paula and Albert for the hospitality and love.)
