Co-op….eration!

It was a cold but pretty day when Terry, Paula,Albert, and myself drove south to record his “Co-op” song for advertising purposes. Thank goodness the roads were dry because the very next day the snow came back big time.

Aaron had previously recorded the main parts of “Dream” as well as Terry’s guitar at Luke Ertman’s studio and later Geoff recorded drums.

We came in to be a part of the chorus for the recording and it was a fun time.

It’s very important to remember where your headphones are so that Luke can find the right channel every time to speak to us and to hear us. We had several rehearsals and then all of us went to the recording side of the room. We met two of Luke’s neighbours who sing and they kindly joined us….Jeff and Julianne.

After the break, Luke recorded the solos which were basically Terry and I singing a line…ha ha.

Luke had us record a gazillion takes so that he had enough to work with and after our session we were very kindly invited to his father’s home for lunch. ( All the ingredients were there to make fresh sandwiches and huge grapes for an addition to the meal. Yum.)

His father not only lives right across the street but is the director for DREAM!
