Funcouver

We left Edmonton one freezing, snowy morning and arrived in Vancouver to feel soft rain, see green grass, and my first flower of the season.

The first evening in we had a delicious late lunch , a cornucopia of vegetables, fruits, and artisan bread, and tons of hugs and love from J’s family. The next day they were off for a few days of family skiing but delayed it by a day to be with us . SO nice.

On Sunday we enjoyed mass at our favourite church ,St. Augustine’s, and after my “bestie Zoom” it was time to celebrate our son, D’s 38th birthday,

We had such fun playing with the kids again, hanging out with Terry’s sister, L and her partner, K, and after the “Name Game” we enjoyed birthday cake of course!

The following morning a large eagle guided us onto the ferry to Victoria and then Terry’s Strategic Planning Session meet up in the Chateau Victoria.

When I had time to myself I braved the many hills and steep streets to walk around downtown.

One never knows the adventures one will encounter…..or the beauty!

I spent some enjoyable time with Chris the busker, a pretty ballerina, and taking photos as usual.

It was a briskly cool day but lovely in the sun. A wonderful day to watch the many folks in their St. Patrick Day’s greens.

Colour everywhere and the next afternoon Terry and I had our own adventures.
