Parish Picnic 2024
Our young priest, Fr. Dean Dowle is full of energy and great ideas for our parish. Once again, he and his team of volunteers thought up lots of fun ideas for our late afternoon picnic.
The weather was just perfect with plenty of shade or sun depending on where you chose to sit on the church property.
There were games for wee ones and adults too and plenty of food options as each family was asked to bring a dessert to share along with our allotted hotdogs or hamburgers.
SO many people showed up and it was fun to see families meeting other church families for the first time or just ‘parking’ their lawn chair beside each other to have some laughs with old friends.
We enjoyed sitting by our new friends, Tom and his son, Jack. Near us as well was our 99 year old friend, Ben, and his daughter, Mary Louise.
There was always music playing and some old fashioned games to play from “Tug O’ War” , “Egg Toss”, “Sack Races”, etc..
