Holy Week
It’s been 40 days since we started our Lenten Journey.
Now it is the last week before Easter and we call it “Holy Week”.
If you are Christian or Catholic you probably received your palms yesterday at church.
Because of Covid we had a “Drive by palm pick up” last year as we weren’t able to attend mass.
The palms symbolize the day when Jesus was celebrated as he rode into Jerusalem on a simple donkey and people were so excited that they placed palms in his path and waved them at him as if he were a king ( which he is!) before he was arrested on Holy Thursday and Crucified on Good Friday.
Even if you aren’t Christian, take time this week to think about your life.
Ask yourself why you are here. Take time to be quiet for a moment each day to think about something beautiful. Remember times when you were thankful for a dear friend, or a family member . And perhaps ask God to reveal himself to you. He will !
Let’s think about those in the world who really need our prayers like our family members who are ill, friends who are having troubles in their marriage perhaps, and of course war torn areas like The Ukraine, Yemen, and Ethiopia.
Send your good thoughts /prayers their way and think about your blessings.
Peace friends.
I’m thankful for you!
