Be My Valentine
You don’t have to be ‘IN’ love to show some love today.
I have always viewed Valentine’s Day as just another excuse to spread love.
Some fun facts about the day :
St. Valentine's Day has its roots in an ancient Pagan festival. ...
In the 1300s, it officially became a holiday associated with love. ...
Cupid has its roots in Greek mythology. ...
The first valentine was sent in the 15th century. ...
Not until the 1840s did we get the first mass-produced valentines.
I love to look for hearts everywhere…and they ARE everywhere.
I like to pick them up if I see them in a stone on a beach. I see them in nature and in man-made structures like walls and flooring. I love the shape.
But the thing I love most about hearts is what they stand for : LOVE.
So whether you are in a relationship with a partner or single and ready to mingle (or not!) ,whether you are married, in ministry, old, or young at heart, whether you’re a lover of sweets….or just a sweet love……… I send you a big : HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
And know that I’m SO happy we are friends, old and new, and I wish you MUCH love…this day…and always.
Love,
Laura Bachynski
