Be My Valentine

You don’t have to be ‘IN’ love to show some love today.

I have always viewed Valentine’s Day as just another excuse to spread love.

Some fun facts about the day :

  • St. Valentine's Day has its roots in an ancient Pagan festival. ...

  • In the 1300s, it officially became a holiday associated with love. ...

  • Cupid has its roots in Greek mythology. ...

  • The first valentine was sent in the 15th century. ...

  • Not until the 1840s did we get the first mass-produced valentines.

Heart shaped geode found in Uruguay.

I love to look for hearts everywhere…and they ARE everywhere.

I like to pick them up if I see them in a stone on a beach. I see them in nature and in man-made structures like walls and flooring. I love the shape.

But the thing I love most about hearts is what they stand for : LOVE.

So whether you are in a relationship with a partner or single and ready to mingle (or not!) ,whether you are married, in ministry, old, or young at heart, whether you’re a lover of sweets….or just a sweet love……… I send you a big : HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

And know that I’m SO happy we are friends, old and new, and I wish you MUCH love…this day…and always.

Love,

Laura Bachynski
