First Snorkel and Luau

It was great to discover that we had plenty of (free) snorkel gear in our condo. But on the day we chose to take Pam and Dave for their first snorkel experience there was a high surf warning! I wanted to try surfing but not only was there no way to really get me in the water safely but I actually re-pulled my back out that morning right before we left. Ugh.

I was super proud of Pam and Dave for braving the strong current and they loved seeing all the tropical fish. Pam did get a bit banged up on the rocks at one point …so now she has a ‘sports injury’ …ha ha.

We had nice showers when we got back and prepared to take our guests to their first Luau.

It was a windy evening but warm at 80 degrees and we started off by lining up for the tasty buffet fare. The guests were not as great in number as the first luau we attended with our son and his family but the show was just as good…if not better!
