More Artworks

I was commissioned to do another painting for the Festival of Trees which will happen this November/December.

In keeping with their mandate of a local place, inclusive people, and their colour scheme I chose the Gazebo in Old Strathcona lit up with Christmas lights and lots of happy people.

I am told that this painting will also be used in advertising (perhaps for the 50/50 Draw tickets) and then auctioned off at the Festival for the University Hospital.

I am glad they liked it.

A friend also asked me to do a sweet little watercolour to give to her hubby for Father’s Day. I’m told he liked it!

Now it’s going to be about illustrating a new children’s book. I am having so much fun with it and I’ll share it with you when I can.

Stay cool in this heat wave, folks.

Peace.
