“L” Is For The Way You Look At Me…”
I was looking around my city today.
I was looking for letters.
Well, not actual letters. Things that looked like they could be shapes of letters with a bit of cropping.
I got the idea from the giant, red crane outside my doctor’s window on the 7th floor. All the ‘X’s’ on the stem of the crane, you know?
Surprisingly, I found all of the alphabet in 3 hours. It was a lovely, fall day and I enjoyed driving around and looking for them as well as noticing that although we hardly have any leaves left at this point….there were still sections of beautiful, colourful trees.
A is for the alphabet I tried to find.
B is for the beautiful day I felt blessed with today.
C is for colour!
D is for my determination to achieve this in one afternoon. And for my Dad. Can’t wait to be with him again soon.
E is for everyone reading this right now. I’m so thankful for you!
F is for dear friends!
G is for grateful.
H is for happy. Every day.
I is for illness. I pray for those of you who are ill.
J is for joking. I love to be silly. I must get that from my parents.
K is for kindness. Let’s try harder this week.
L is for ….you guessed it….LOVE!
M is for my mother who gave me life.
N is for noticing the small things.
O is ‘for the only one I see’.
P is for the people in my life that I love.
Q is for quiet. I so enjoy the quiet.
R is for rest. I need this. We all do.
S is for my sisters. I love and miss them when we’re apart.
T is for Terry. The best person I know.
U is for our universe….incredible!
W is for wishing. We’re never too old to hope our wishes come true.
X is for X-ray. I’ve had a few too many of these lately.
Y is for youth. I miss my grandsons when we are not together.
Z is for sleep. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ . Hope we have a good one tonight.
(I wonder what your alphabet would look like?)
