Camrose with Paula

My sister and I were reminiscing about our Sunday drives when we were young.

Our family used to love to just pile in the car (and we didn’t always have seatbelts when we were very young) and head out for a ride to see what we could see. Sometimes we’d end up at an antique store where we learned to be careful with precious things and always we daydreamed as we looked out the car window at the farm fields of Ontario.

So instead of going home by the same highway that took us into Camrose, we decided to head down some back roads to see if there was anything that caught our attention for a photo or two.

We found a gift shop down a dirt road. It said it was open but the only sign of life were 3 friendly dogs.

Ioved the look of the General and Cannabis stores that we passed.

There are many farms ,ponds, and lakes on the journey home from Camrose to Edmonton. It was a pretty day, the smoke from the Alberta fires had dissipated, and with a iced coffee in our hands we headed back.

Thanks for the great day, Paulie.
