As a mom of identical twins I know what it’s like to raise humans that look exactly alike.
But, have you ever seen a person that looks just like you?
Have you ever had someone call the wrong name when they look at you?
Have you ever had someone tell you that they know a person that looks identical to you?
That my friends is your ‘doppelgänger’.
Probably many of us have been told that we look like ‘that actor’ or ‘that actress’ in some way. Or maybe we have one feature that is similar to a friend. In fact, some celebrities use doppelgängers for when they can’t make an engagement..ha ha . It’s true!
But I was surprised to find out that there are groups that search for identicals and some pairs that actually do the testing to find out if they are related in some way…..even going way way back.
