Home For A While
We said goodbye to +84 weather and said hello to minus 31!
But we know the beauty of the snow and we know if you dress for it you are warm enough. It felt good to be in our cozy home again. It was especially nice for me to finally be surrounded by all the infrastructure we have in place for my accessibility.
Bags unpacked….check. Laundry done…check. Groceries done…check. Now it was time to return to some more creativity in the form of painting and music.
We had the chance to get back to the Marian Centre for a painting afternoon. I added another “Through The Rainy Windshield” (#8) to my collection.
I noticed the painting of our dear friend, Michael who has passed on and my heart skipped a beat. I miss him so.
On Monday James Seabrook brought his recording equipment over so that both of us could listen to each of my new songs and decide what still needs to be added to each . Lots more to do but I’m very happy with what we have so far.
This summer my sisters will sing their harmonies with me. Yay!
P.s. Happy Valentine’s Day!
