Kona : Here We Come!
It’s always been a wonderful feeling to arrive to the swaying palms of Hawaii.
Our flights and connections were so smooth! The worst part is waiting for our rental vehicle….made all that much longer when they gave us a Jeep at first. (I can’t climb into one!)
We arrived to a very warm but well appointed condo and got to bed in the wee hours of the morning (our time).
The next morning we were up and out early to attend mass at St. Michael the Archangel. We felt so welcomed with all the hugs after mass and once again the music minister, Walter and his wife, Thelma invited us to sing with them for the month that we’re here!
Brunch was still excellent at Kai and we were thrilled to find out our building for the month had fixed the air conditioner. Phew!
These early days were spent unwinding from all the travel and visits.
Glad I could Zoom with my besties as usual.
