Exciting Creations

Despite the fact that we’ve been travelling and had so many Christmas visits I still managed to have a full day of recording violin/fiddle, banjo, and mandolin….thanks to my friends the amazing “Bombadils” (Sarah Frank and Luke Fraser).

And of course a big thank-you as well to James Seabrook who came over to my own home for this recording because he knows that stairs are painful for me. (His new studio has many stairs…)

So I had the pleasure of hanging out with all of these guys and boy, am I happy with the result! I know this album is taking years (I wrote most of the songs when we were stuck home with lockdowns for covid) but I am not in a rush and everyone is busy. So when I myself or my players get freed up….we get together!

It was a fantastic day and I am uber pleased. We had lots of laughs too.

I’m also getting super excited for Terry’s new musical, “Dream”. Rosebud Theatre has now sent out its brochure confirming the dates for the premiere!

We have already filled up the rooms at our favourite B & B there for guests who wanted first dibs….including our children. Oh boy! This will be amazing.

There will be four performances in and around the May 10th-11th weekend. We're working on possibly 4 -4:30 matinees.
