Thank you, Frontline workers

Everyday I take a fearful peek at the Covid numbers in our city/province. And like many other cities in Canada and the world our numbers are rising again.

And as we head out for picnics and outdoor, socially distant gatherings I am reminded of the exhausting , daily work that our Frontline workers do for us while we’re outside enjoying the day.

Just thinking about them today and hoping myself or any of my family members will not need their services. And I’m so very thankful for the care they have already provided for many of my friends…some of whom survived their I.C.U. experiences…and some who did not.

Thank you . Thank you to the many doctors and nurses and other hospital staff who work tirelessly to heal the sick. Thank you for our teachers who head into the classrooms every day. Thank you to our healthcare staff who welcome patients into their offices . Thank you to first responders in all fields.

I might not know your names but I know what you do for us. And I’m so very grateful.
