A Busy Sunday
After going to mass online we picked up the gang for our second full day of helping out the parents while they move.
It is difficult for me to help out with 3 car seats because they’re at the very back of a van and my body cannot reach. So it was a cute joke when I told Terry and J that I had the kids settled in their car seats ….as you can see in that first photo.
I also love the second car seat photo because our oldest guy is just nonchalantly sitting there ….wearing his homemade “Pikachu” hat. So cute!
This time our drive took us to up to West Van where we started the day at the ‘Castle Royale’. This is a big climbing place that has all sorts of ball-rooms and slides . Good thing Grandpa is still limber enough to climb in with them!
After the physical fun we went a few steps over to the food court to enjoy a quick “Tim Horton’s” lunch before we took a chance that all three littles would sit through a full length movie called “Sing 2”.
It didn’t take long for 2 year old Leo fall asleep in my arms and the 2 ‘big’ boys enjoyed their popcorn and ‘big’ movie experience. (Also, the movie is GREAT!)
Then, although it was sprinkling, we drove to “Kit’s Beach” and let them play at the playground and the beach.
Later, after dropping the boys off at their new home ,in which they would have their very first sleep in their new rooms, we made it home in time to watch The Oscars. And a crazy show it was!
Glad we could find things that the wee ones enjoyed doing. They are SUCH good children.
