Vancouver Time Once Again
What a gorgeous time to fly to Vancouver! Both Edmonton and Van were having particularly warm weather (not good for fires and farmers of course) and it felt so good to arrive in + 20 and sun! I saw my first flower of the season at the airport.
We also saw our first “Waldo” sitting on a mushroom near a “Game of Thrones” throne !!!!!!! -?????
After Terry did our groceries for the month ( expensive!!!) and I unpacked we were kindly invited our to our son “J’s” house for dinner and a visit with S and our 3 grandsons.
We had a ton of fun with ‘show and tell’ from the boys and our ‘on plan’ dinner was delicious! We left shortly after dinner and set up our wee apartment for the month. zzzzzzz
The next day was St. Patrick’s Day and a very exciting one for all of us !
After a nice breakfast at the Zen café and mass at St. Augustine’s we met up with “D’’s family to head over to their very first house!
We sincerely lucked out because the very next day renovations start….so that was our window. J’s family also joined us all so we had a great time checking out the layout and hearing about the future dreams for the place. It is so perfect. We’re extremely happy for them.
Next up: a belated birthday celebration for our middle son, D. We all enjoyed playing games with the children and having a wonderful ‘Earl’s’ meal and chocolate cake too. (lucky it was Sunday for our Lenten observances)
Lots of hugs and laughs and love that day. And our middle grandson, M, gave us a mobile that he created.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day….indeed!
