When.

When Terry arrives it is more fun to do things together. When he arrived it was the first day the weather turned cool and the rain came pouring down. (I was personally happy because this humidity/heat was killing me…ha ha)

When Terry arrived we were invited to Pam and Dave’s for a pizza/games night with them and Alaina. It was delicious food and great company as always. Thanks so much.

I asked everyone to make a silly face. Somebody did not take the bait.

The next day we did some errands after a good brunch at Lux restaurant. We found out that our dear friend, formally from Edmonton’s Marian Centre, had just been moved to Windsor for his retirement so we popped by for a surprise visit to Fr. Tom Talentino. When we finished taking rapid Covid tests and filling out a contact tracing form we were able to come up to his apartment and he just about fell over when he saw us! We had a wonderful visit and it was SO great to see him again.

When we left Father Tom it was almost time to get ready for meeting up with Terry’s parents.

What a lovely reunion we had at their favourite golf club, Beach Grove. We had a good meal and great conversations as always. I’m SO happy Terry’s mum is recovering so well from her months long stay in hospital. That’s another story. When we were leaving I noticed Terry’s dad’s name on a winning golf team plaque. Like father like son.

Then it was “Wizard” again and Terry surprised his folks with a copy of his brand new musical which is loosely based on their love story.

When will I ever forget these wonderful visits?
