Rehearsal

I am the worst at learning my own lyrics and chords by heart. Ugh.

Terry seems to play his music once and he’s got it locked down forever…ha ha.

So I practice, practice, practice, and practice some more (and I’ll still make a few mistakes.)

I keep a beautiful Seagull guitar in Windsor (so I don’t have the hassle and expense of traveling with it) and I was able to rehearse in my hotel room quite a few times. I put my lyrics on my phone too so I didn’t even have to drag my large sheaf of new music papers with me.

We have our first Front Porch Concert of the season booked for this upcoming Sunday.

It’s been raining all week so we’re hopeful that the rain will give us a break for that one evening.

We had to lead the music at mass this past Sunday so there was that rehearsing, we had to practice for the concert, and we’re rehearsing as well with Paula and Albert who will kindly accompany us for harmonies and djembé respectively.

We also have 5 concerts in total this summer to rehearse for AND I’m recording my 4th album still. So…..lots of practice!

Hope you can join us for our concert on the 25th!
