That Fall Feeling
I baked a blueberry pie the other day. And when I get into the mode of baking pies I know that autumn is in the air.
In fact, it’s only mid September as I write this and many of the leaves have already fallen from the huge trees in our surrounding neighbourhoods!
We finally had a chance to have a beautiful, young couple over to our home to help us eat that pie. We sang at their wedding last year and although we know Gabrielle’s parents well we didn’t know all that much about her and her new husband, Noah.
It was a lovely night of getting to know each other and I’m so happy it finally worked out for us to be together.
Another day I went out to “Little Brick” which is a restaurant in a nearby neighbourhood that we love.
It was so beautiful out that we ate outside and really enjoyed our meals too.
These days of good weather won’t be here for long so we are enjoying them while we can!
The birds kept us company and we had a giggle over the recycled cup logo. (“So THAT’S what happened to “Fluffy” ! ha ha ha.)
May our September be one to remember ….in a good way!
