Photo Memories
Well, we’ve had a busy summer. $280 dollars worth…ha ha ha.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love taking photographs. But what you might not know about me is that I actually still print out my photos and put them in albums.
I think I’m up to 73 large family albums and I have many many more albums filled with memories of our life together as well.
I have separate photograph albums for when Terry and I used to travel the world together. I have ‘old’ albums from when I had my first very first camera. I have wedding albums, and albums about the many theatre productions I’ve been in.
The list goes on and on.
So I’ve just picked up and organized my photos that reach back to last winter’s snowy walks and up until returning from our Southern Alberta road trip. Hundreds of photos but you know what? I love it!
I love reliving the memories of family times while looking through the moments captured. Sometimes I will shed a few tears of happiness for how blessed I feel for these wonderful gatherings.
In the past, one of the first things my children and their spouses did when they returned home for Christmas was head straight to my office to grab albums, old and new, and just sit around the living room looking through and enjoying. That gave me great joy too!
So today, I will pull out a new ‘Scrapbook style’ album and start taping in our adventures. I guess we will have to eventually get all of these pages digitally recorded as well. Now THAT will be a huge job…for someone else…ha ha.
Here I go….off to memory lane!
Have a wonderful day!
