Something Sacred

I am wealthy.

I do not have a ‘wealth’ of information nor gold bars in the bank.

But I am wealthy with friends and family and that is a treasure I do not take for granted.

We have all felt the despair this past couple of years in being forced to be apart from those we love. And for a while we had a bit of a break from the separation and were allowed to travel and even hug our vaccinated friends and family.

I’m not sure what is going to happen in the future with these new variants of Covid that are mutating and threatening to put us all in lockdown once again.

But I know that I will never take for granted the love I feel from and for these dear people in my life.
