Red’s Room

Saturday night was such a fun experience. Somehow “Red” of Red’s Room, L.A., found me on Facebook and invited me to be a part of an online concert night that they put together ( and have been running concerts this way since the Pandemic) .

Our Emily set us up our professional sound equipment for the night and we were blessed to be the only people who had clear sounds for the show. It really was too bad that so many of the other great performers had glitches or lost their sound during their performances.

We got to listen to some wonderfully talented people like (above)….Ron Gesch, Samantha Culiton, and Robbie Paul. Mostly everyone wrote their own tunes and with a few folks doing ‘covers’. Our hostess, Heather Rae, (featured middle below), did an excellent job of making every performer feel welcomed and complimented and it was fun to hear all that great worship music from all the artists.

Red invited us back to perform again sometime and as we were the only artists from Canada he said he might even put together a “Canadian Show” in the future.

I sang my songs, “Words on a Page” and “That’s How We’ll Win” with Terry accompanying me on bass guitar. Then Terry took over on guitar with myself switching to Djembé while he played his tune,“Gloria” . I then sang one of my newest, unrecorded songs, “Broken” followed by “Hope Is” from my album of the same name.

After a busy day of cleaning and preparing for the next family to arrive on Sunday, we took ourselves out for a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary. (X1X restaurant) .

Looking forward to the next three weeks with our son, Darren, his wife, Jenny, and our other three grandsons.
