MUD PUDDLE!

WHEN WE WERE AWAY IN JASPER, ALBERTA, LAST WEEK WE TOOK SOME TIME TO PAINT.

IT FEELS SO GOOD TO SET UP THE EASLES, PAINTS, PALETTES, AND CANVASSES IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT. THE SETTING OF THE LOG CABIN WITH ROARING FIRE CAN PUT ME IN JUST THE RIGHT MOOD TO STAY INDOORS AND GET CREATIVE.

TERRY FINISHED HIS BEAUTIFUL PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING OF A JASPER MOUNTAIN SCENE.  I LOVE IT! (ALL WORKS ARE FOR SALE, BY THE WAY…WITH 80% OF MONIES GOING TO CHARITY).

I DECIDED TO WORK OFF OF AN IMAGE I HAD TAKEN ON MY PHONE…WHICH WAS AWKWARD. BUT I MANAGED TO GET QUITE A GOOD START ON IT AND FINISHED THE PAINTING HERE AT HOME TODAY.

THIS IS A FRIEND’S GRANDDAUGHTER . I CALL IT ‘MUD PUDDLE’ . I THINK YOU CAN SEE WHY.
