Pedicure and Pizza Day
Simple pleasures. That’s how this day felt.
Terry was out practicing his golf for the morning, so after I dropped him off I drove across town to “Beauty Lux” for my first pedicure since our daughter, Lana’s, wedding.
Since one can actually see my feet (no winter boots needed here!) I thought it would be great to have some pampering and a pretty look for my sandaled feet. Plus, I really needed help with my toes.
Brittany did a really nice job for me and it felt good to get rid of ‘the claws’….ha ha.
Terry enjoyed his golf session too. He enjoys practicing as much as playing he says.
We ended up having a pretty tasteless lunch at his golf club (chicken salads) but that evening we treated ourselves to one of the best pizzas around (Kona’s Blackrock Pizza….almost as good as Windsor’s Franco’s!) and enjoyed it outside while watching an outdoor beach volleyball game downtown.
We’ve prepared most of our meals ‘at home’ so it was fun to get out for a couple of meals.
My toes were happy too!
