Off To The Museum
“J” decided she wanted to take her boys to the Alberta Museum so off we went one Friday morning.
The first thing we came upon was the “Mini Museum” where folks were encouraged to look for anything they might happen to be carrying that they would be willing to donate and tell the story behind it. A very clever idea which the boys loved. I’ve included a few examples above.
After the fun children’s area (suggested to us by our ‘cool’ shoes host) we took in the bug zone which the boys loved of course.
There were SO many fun areas to explore like the big blocks area, the natural history area, etc., and Nonny and Papa had a lot of fun playing with the smallest boy as he ran back and forth to us for a big hug and sky lift.
We all pulled into the Wendy’s drive through on the way home for yummy salads (for us) and chicken fingers and fries for the kids.
They loved the museum and we are happy they did!
