December Memories
Inside our home it’s warm and cozy but outside it is -20 and coooooold. But that never stopped this Edmontonian from trying to visit with friends.
It feels so good to have such great friendships. I don’t know why God blessed me with these good people in my life but I want to let them know that I love being with them.
Have you taken the time to fit some visiting into your busy schedule?
Outside is chilling with a storm warning but inside Terry reads to me every single evening of Advent. I LOVE this tradition. He has managed to find this one author who always writes novels about this town in Edinburgh with great characters and fun plotlines. We make a cuppa and sit by the blazing hearth while he continues the story.
We may not always be blessed with a long life or a lifetime of friendships so we must not take it for granted that we will always be here.
This past Sunday we celebrated the birthday (that DAY!) of our friend, Ben. He turned one hundred.
I thank God for you too, my friends.
Stay well.
Be safe.
Love well.
Feel peace.
Love, Laura
