It’s All Greek To Me
What’s your favourite food?
One of mine definitely has to be Greek Food. Well, specifically Chicken Souvlaki. Yum.
Are you like me? When I go to a restaurant I usually always choose my favourite thing from that place because , well, it’s my favourite thing. Why change it up? Ha ha.
So when I have the chance to go to a Greek restaurant I always order the Chicken Souvlaki.
My two favourite Greek restaurants in Edmonton are Yanni’s and Koutouki and this night we chose the latter and were not disappointed.
On this cold night we were treated to a nice, warm table, away from the door. Our appies were yummy (spicy sausage and peppers for the guys and humus and pita for me) and the conversations were great as usual.
The inside photo above is no longer accurate (from the internet) because the chairs are MUCH more comfortable now , dark wood and padded seats. The atmosphere was quiet ….until it wasn’t…..
The music suddenly got VERY loud and to our surprise, there appeared a belly dancer.
Luckily she did not come to our table (we just feel uncomfortable with that) but she looked beautiful twirling and whirling around the other patrons.
It was a nice evening and tomorrow we are going to sing at Albert’s church while his bride is in Ontario.
Music. Dancing. Good food. Good friends.
What’s not to like?
