Palette knife
My art room is getting a lot of use these days.
I absolutely love painting with acrylic on canvas. I like painting with watercolours or oils too. I love to draw in graphite or with ink. But palette knife is a ‘whole other animal’.
I decided to try this technique yesterday which requires one to paint very fast ,before the paint dries. I also use an incredible amount of paint for the thick swashes . Woah.
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out but I found it kind of stressful to accomplish.
I think I’ll leave the knives in the drawer for awhile longer…ha ha.
