Coffee Date
We’re really glad we save Mondays for us.
The weekends can be super fun but also very very busy with both families. So Mondays we sleep in and take the day to do what we like.
This past Monday we woke up very late….ten a.m. ! But it felt SOOOOOO good. It was a very busy weekend.
After a nice smoothie breakfast from Terry and coffee made we checked emails. Then it was off to the golf course for T and I had a chance to get all of my Lenten prayers done. Lovely.
I made us salads for lunch and then we decided to walk Main street and check out the shops. It was actually ….sunny!
Although it was only a slight incline up the street I was really very sore so it felt great to stop at a coffee shop called “Coffee Date” and take a break. It was a lovely place and we’ll be back for sure.
We continued on and looked in a few second hand shops, an antique shop, and giftie type shops where we found a few little gifts.
Before we left the area we stopped into a British type pub where we had a drink, a snack, and played Tile Rummy.
A very relaxing day indeed. I made a big batch of turkey chili to take to one of our families this week when we returned home. (SO nice to see the cherry blossoms on the way back finally able to open due to the sun.)
