Heartland Concert!

The folks at Heartland Alliance understand the word ‘ hospitality’ .  From the moment we walked into the foyer we felt welcomed. Actually our host, Elfrieda, held the door for us to say ‘ welcome’ so it was before we even arrived into the building…lol. 

 The room was cozy and each table was decorated beautifully for this month’s Senior’s Dinner.   We already had some sound equipment and supplies ready for us so we only had to bring half the equipment we usually haul for a concert ….very appreciated by all of us. 

Our sound check went well and then we were invited to stay and join the group for dinner !        I feel like the evening went well….we certainly felt a warm reception ..and I had a ton of fun singing some of my new songs  and a mixture of oldies and hymns last night.  Terry sang some of his fun originals too and many folks loved his ” Co-Op” song about finding everything you need at the store near where he grew up . 

I want to send a big thank-you to Cheryl Francis for inviting us to entertain. I hope we sing for you again someday….
